Curtis Group Architects is participating in the 9th Annual Dallas Gingertown! We're following a Candy Land-style "masterplan" and "zoning regulations" to build on two of the Gingertown plots (click the picture to the right to see Gingertowns from years past). Construction will begin at 5 p.m. on December 3 at NorthPark Center in Nordstrom Court and end around 9 p.m. that evening.
What is Gingertown?
Founded in 2006 by David M. Schwarz Architects, Gingertown brings together the talent of over 20 local A/E/C firms to create a gingerbread town, complete with licorice paved streets lined with candy cane lampposts. All funds raised by this event go towards the Children's Craniofacial Association. The team with the most funds will be named "Mayor of Gingertown" and receive bragging rights for the entire next year.
How can you help?
Along with gathering contributions internally, we are inviting others to donate as well. There are varying donation price options and all donations are due by November 29 at midnight.
